With the anticipated release of Christopher Nolan's Dunkirk only days away, getwestlondon took a look back the Ealing Studios 1958 version of the film .

After studying the fascinating pictures from the set of Leslie Norman's film which starred Richard Attenborough , we came across a familiar face.

One of the talking points ahead of the release of Nolan's version was the casting of former One Direction star Harry Styles in what has been billed as his acting debut.

However, the image in the video above clearly shows one actor who is the spitting image of the "Sign of the Times" popstar.

This brings us to one simple conclusion - Harry Styles is in fact a time traveller.

Don't take our word for it, have a look yourself.

The release of Nolan's latest directorial effort, who has previously brought us Inception, the Dark Knight trilogy and Interstellar, is due on Friday July 21.

It tells the tale of a German advance into France during the Second World War which trapped allied troops on the beaches of Dunkirk in May 1940.

As well as Styles, the film stars Tom Hardy, Mark Rylance, Cillian Murphy and Kenneth Branagh.

Norman's Dunkirk was released in 1958 and turned out to be the third from last film to come out of the studio based in west London.
