The 600 sq ft store opened on Wednesday, November 16, coinciding with the cinema release of the Warner Bros prequel Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them .
Hedwig takes the starring role at the front of the shop, sitting alongside the books, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
Other top lines include Bertie Botts Every Flavour Beans & Platform 9 3/4 Chocolate, magical wands and Hogwarts house scarfs, hats and gloves, the perfect stocking fillers.
“We are really pleased to welcome the new Harry Potter Shop to Terminal 5," said Heathrow’s commercial director, Jonathan Coen.
"Harry Potter is loved across the globe and what better place to enjoy gift and souvenirs from the Wizarding World before our passengers fly to the other side of the world.
"We hope our customers enjoy everything the new store has to offer as they take a little magic with them.”
It is anticipated that the shop will be visited by more than 16 million passengers coming through Terminal 5 every year.
So if you are travelling from Heathrow Airport and want to get your hands on a Hufflepuff scarf or a bag of Bertie Botts Every Flavor Beans for the journey, then you will have to head to the British Airways terminal, where the shop is located after security.
It is open seven days a week from 5.30am until 10pm.
