A Harrow woman was viciously attacked in her own home during a robbery by a teenager possibly wearing a school uniform, police have said.

The 60-year-old was injured after being punched in the head by a teen believed to be 14 to 16-years-old who entered her home in Headstone Drive on December 15.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman told getwestlondon: "At this stage, we are looking for witnesses who might have seen anything that evening.

"It took place at around 7pm, and the victim said he first demanded she give him her purse."

Officers have described the as a black male, around 14 to 16-years-old, 5 ft 2 in tall, small build with short Afro hair.

He was wearing a white shirt, a navy coloured jacket and trousers, which police believe could possibly be a school uniform.

Witnesses are asked to call Harrow CID on 0208 733 3401 with any information on the incident.
