A fire that tore through a shop and flats in Westbourne Park on Friday morning (February 24) has caused Harrow Road to remain closed three days later.

London Fire Brigade said the damage caused by the fire was “excessive” and had damaged most of the first floor and half of the roof.

Ten fire engines and over 72 firefighters tackled the blaze at its height.

Transport for London said at around 6am on Monday (February 27) that Harrow Road is still closed in both directions.
