High Street in Harlington remains closed following an earlier road traffic collision .

Police were called to the scene at 1.20pm today (Thursday March 2) to a bus and two cars in collision.

A spokesman from the Met Police said:

"London Ambulance Service and London Fire Brigade are also in attendance.

"It is believed five people are injured. No injuries are thought to be life-changing or life-threatening."

Following the collision, the road was closed in both directions and according to Transport for London (TfL), the road remains closed this evening (March 2).

The collision involved a route H98 single deck bus and according to TfL, an investigation is underway.

Tony Akers, TfL’s Head of Bus Operations, said: "Our thoughts are with those who sustained injuries in the incident.

"A full investigation is underway.”
