A murder investigation has been launched after a man was stabbed to death following an "incident" at a barber shop in Harlesden.

Metropolitan Police were called by London Ambulance Service (LAS) at 2.10pm on Friday (May 5) to reports of a man suffering stab injuries near Central Middlesex Hospital.

It is believed he was injured earlier on in Cutz Barbers Shop, in Craven Park Road, and he was trying to make his own way to hospital.

Paramedics tried to save the man, believed to be in his 30s, but he was sadly pronounced dead at the scene at 3.20pm.

Next of kin have been informed but formal identification is yet to take place, while a post-mortem examination is expected in due course.

A crime scene remains in place.

DCI Matt Bonner, from the Homicide and Major Crime Command, is leading the investigation and said: “I am keen to hear from anybody who may have been in or around Cutz Barbers Shop at 2pm and who may have seen a dispute between two men.
