A 30-year-old delivery driver was threatened at knifepoint and stabbed by thugs trying to rob him of his moped in Harlesden , Brent .

The victim was reportedly approached by two males on a dark-coloured moped in Connaught Road at around 4.13pm on Sunday (November 5).

They threatened him at knifepoint for his scooter and when he refused to hand it over they attacked him, before getting back onto their moped and fleeing in the direction of Craven Park Road.

Police and London Ambulance Service attended the incident following reports of an attempted robbery.

A male victim was found with stab wounds in Connaught Road and LAS treated the 30-year-old at the scene.

No arrests have been made in connection with the attack and police enquiries into the incident continue.

Police urge anyone who may have witnessed the attack or who may have information about what happened to come forward.

The attack comes just days after two delivery drivers were targeted in separate suspected acid attacks on Thursday (November 2) .
