A crack house in Harlesden was busted and two men arrested by authorities after known sex workers were found to be coming and going from the property.

Metropolitan Police officers shut down the house in Sellons Avenue after finding Class A drug paraphernalia following complaints from residents in the nearby area to the Kensal Green policing team.

Brent's Ant-Social Behaviour Team got the order to close the property after "a pungent odour of heroin and crack cocaine could be smelt in the communal hallway".

There were also known sex workers coming and going from the property.

A large amount of cash as well as drugs paraphernalia was seized from the property

Officers seized the paraphernalia and a large amount of cash following the arrest.

Councillor Michael Pavey, Brent Council's Cabinet Member for Stronger Communities said: "This situation sounds like an absolute nightmare - the neighbours must have suffered so much.

"I'm very pleased that our Anti-Social Behaviour Team managed to obtain a 'Crack House Closure' order in Court which saw the house shut down and arrests made.

"We will continue working hard with our partners to ensure that no community is blighted by this kind of behaviour."
