A power cut has hit residents in Harefield and Denham overnight on Tuesday (November 29) and into Wednesday morning (November 30).
The outage started at around 11.40pm and was described by a Hillingdon councillor as a “massive power cut.”
According to Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN), which is the distributor for the area, the power was restored to all but 10 houses within an hour and a half.
The remaining customers had their electricity restored by 6.15am according to the company.
It is believed to have been caused by a fault in a cable in the Harefield and Denham areas.
A spokesman for the company said: “The power went off at 11.40pm due to a fault in a cable.
“The final customers, but we restored all but 10 within the first hour and a half.
“We'd like to apologise to anyone affected.”
