Thousands of music fanatics descended on London's Olympic Stadium on Friday (June 16) to see Guns N' Roses play their first gig in 24 years.

The 'Not in This Lifetime Tour', inspired by singer Axl Rose's reply when asked about the band reforming in 2012, will play two gigs at the venue.

The reformed rock band got back together in 2016 and have been touring ever since, with founder Axl Rose and former members Slash and Duff McKagan taking part.

However, their original guitarist Izzy Stradlin has not participated in the reunion, which has seen them performing across the UK.
