A biker left the scene of a crash which left the motorcycle pillion passenger in hospital.

The Metropolitan Police were called to the scene of the collision between a motorbike and van in Greenford Road, Ealing just before 9am on Friday (August 4).

The male pillion passenger was taken to a central London hospital where he remains in a stable condition but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Police said the rider of the motorcycle left the scene before officers arrived.

Detectives from the Met’s Roads and Transport Policing Command are investigating.
