A woman has been taken to hospital after a collision in Greenford , in which the other driver allegedly failed to stop at the scene.

Police officers were called to Uneeda Drive on Tuesday (September 19) morning after two cars collided.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: "We were called at 9.46am to Uneeda Drive to reports of a car in collision with another car.

"One of the cars failed to stop at the scene.

"Officers in the area are working to trace the driver."

One woman was taken to hospital "as a precaution" after the incident.

Her injuries are not thought be to serious, life threatening or life changing, police said.

Road closures were in place as emergency services dealt with the scene.
