Green Party candidate Sian Berry will launch her manifesto for the Mayoral and London Assembly elections at Parsons Green.

She will announce the plans for her party at Andrew Robson Bridge Club on April 4. It was one of the small businesses which could have been evicted by Transport for London’s (TfL) redevelopment plans for the Parsons Green depot site.

Green Party London Assembly Member Jenny Jones was instrumental in getting the controversial plans dropped, after visiting businesses there and raising the issue with London Mayor Boris Johnson.

TfL says it will now work more closely with the community on its plans for the site.

Also speaking at the manifesto launch will be the political party’s second and third candidates for City Hall, Caroline Russell and Shahrar Ali.

Ms Berry is also due to visit Ealing Broadway Shopping Centre on Saturday (April 2) from 11am until midday to meet members of the public.
