A Chiswick road has been closed to traffic after a collision and a cordon put up around a red bus on Thursday morning (December 1).

Reports first emerged at around 7am that Goldhawk Road is closed near Stamford Brook because of the crash.

The 237 service bus was diverted from its regular route because of the collision.

The crash was reported shortly before 7am

A picture taken from the scene by Bedfont and Feltham FC showed police and an ambulance on the scene with tape closing off the road.

In the photo a bus can been seen inside the cordon and is being inspected by men in hi-vis coats.

According to one source the road was still closed as of around 8.50am.

Transport for London said at around 8.30am: “Goldhawk Road still closed between Ravenscourt Gardens and Stamford Brook Road.

“Use other routes and expect delays.”
