As ever, it's been another busy week in west London but this is perhaps the most diverse we've seen for some time.

A man who threw a bottle at a moving car and smashed the windscreen is being sought by Heathrow police and a video captured the scary moment .

Officers are appealing for help to identify a male passenger after CCTV captured the moment a plastic bottle was thrown at a minicab driver's vehicle on Northern Perimeter Road near Heathrow Airport .

The man believed to be in his 20s was sat in the front seat of the car and may have connections to the Bedfont area in the borough of Hounslow , the Met Police said.

Uxbridge residents might have spotted a lot of excitement around the town recently as camera crews, actors, and filming equipment have popped up during production of an expected Margot Robbie film .

A black screen was recently constructed in Vine Street and high-powered lighting systems were set up as men in period suits were spotted inside Randalls department store.

The next morning there was more excitement as the front of the historic shop was transformed into a New York-style toy shop and Vine Street became host to hot dog stands and classic cars.

Woman punched to the floor during a 'hate crime' assault on a train in Hammersmith

British Transport Police (BTP) has released the picture of a man they would like to talk to in connection with an assault on a train earlier this year .

The incident happened on a westbound District Line train just after midnight on August 22 when a man started an argument with a woman, making reference to the fact she was Polish, BTP said.

According to the BTP, when the train stopped in Hammersmith , the man punched the victim in the face, knocking her to the ground.
