Three candidates are looking for your vote in the Twickenham constituency at the general election on Thursday (June 8).

Hoping to retain her seat is Dr Tania Mathias for the Conservatives who won the seat from Vince Cable and the Liberal Democrats in the 2015 election.

However Mr Cable will return to fight back and reclaim the seat he lost, while Sarah Katherine Dunn stands for the Labour Party.

In neighbouring Richmond, there are four candidates standing including the return of Conservative candidate Zac Goldsmith.

He failed to become Mayor of London, and quit the party after the government approved a third runway at Heathrow Airport in October last year.

His decision cost the party a seat in the by-election in a defeat to the Liberal Democrats, Sarah Olney, who is one again running in the the upcoming election.

Representing the Labour Party for the Richmond seat will be Cate Tuitt and for the UKIP Party Peter Jewell.
