General Election 2017: Angry F-word outburst against the Tories interrupts Brentford hustings

Watch candidates talk about affordable housing, Brexit and more as they went head-to-head at the pre-election debate

Candidates for Brentford and Isleworth debated on several key issues at hustings on Thursday (June 1) night.

The borough's housing crisis, Brexit, austerity and education were among the topics discussed.

All three candidates, Labour candidate Ruth Cadbury , Conservative candidate Mary Macleod and Liberal Democrats candidate Joe Bourke took questions from the audience.

As with any debate there was cheering, jeering and in this case one person had to be removed from the hustings event.

While the cheers were for Ms Cadbury, it was Ms Macleod that got a member of the crowd hot under the collar as a heckler launched into an abusive rant hurling foul language towards the Tory party.
