Travellers heading to Gatwick Airport could be facing major disruption following reports of computer systems crashing.
The problems have been reported by at the airport along with France, USA, South Africa and Singapore destinations.

Computer "crash" is an airline issue, Gatwick spokesperson explained
A Gatwick Airport spokesperson said:
This is an airline issue, not an airport issue. This isn’t a Gatwick software, it’s hit a few arlines’ check-in systems which were down.
They added:
They could not check in passengers.

Tyrone Kennedy took to twitter to say he was affected by the issue an hour ago.
Gatwick Airport confirm issue resolved, spokesman confirms
A Gatwick Airport spokesman has confirmed an IT system called Altea software, used by “a few airlines” went down briefly this morning.
They declined to comment which airlines were affected.
