Firefighters attended a blaze at a home on Goshawk Gardens in Hayes on Monday (May 23) evening.

The fire destroyed a wooden shed and a garage. Officers from Hillingdon Fire Station were called to the scene at 6.20pm, and the fire was under control by around 7pm that evening.

Two fire engines and around 10 firefighters attended the fire.

A garage and a shed were badly damaged in the fire

A spokeswoman for the London Fire Brigade said: "The Brigade was called at 6.20pm and the fire was under control by 7.01pm.

"Two fire engines and around 10 firefighters and officers attended the scene. They were from Hillingdon fire station.

"A garage and wooden shed were badly damaged by the fire"

Nobody was reported as injured in the fire.
