Stars united at Loftus Road on Saturday (September 2) in aid of the community hit by the Grenfell Tower disaster .

Kasabian's Chris Edwards equalised to send the game to penalties, after two goals from QPR fans favourite Trevor Sinclair for Team Shearer.

Olly Murs was the hero of the shoot-out, slotting the winning spot kick past Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho to win the game for Team Ferdinand.

Around 2,000 complimentary tickets were given to those directly affected, including residents, relatives of the victims, volunteers and members of the emergency services.

Firefighter Gregg Jules and four Grenfell Tower survivors took part in the game just a mile from the block in North Kensington.

Mumford and Sons, Rita Ora and Emeli Sandi performed at half-time to celebrate the community event.

All money raised will go to the Evening Standard's fund for those touched by the tragedy, which claimed at least 80 lives in June.
