Police have arrested four people in connection with the alleged shooting of a three-year-old girl at a park in Feltham.

Three teenage boys, aged 13, 14 and 16, and a 23-year-old man were all arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm (GBH).

The girl was rushed to hospital after being reportedly shot by an air rifle as she played in Hanworth Park last Thursday, August 20.

She required surgery to remove a pellet but has since been discharged.

Police said a 16-year-old boy had presented himself at a west London police station on Friday following a public appeal yesterday.

They said the other three arrests were all made in the Feltham area, and all four people are in custody at a west London police station.

Officers added that no weapon had been recovered at this time.

Police were called by hospital staff after the child was admitted with a wound to her abdomen.
