Four more people have been arrested on suspicion of murdering Sukhjinder Singh, who was stabbed to death in Southall.

Police arrested a 28-year-old man and 29-year-old man on Thursday (August 4) evening, and a 36-year-old man and 28-year-old man were arrested the following morning.

All four were arrested on suspicion of murder and were still being held at a north-west London police station on Saturday (August 6) morning.

A 24-year-old man who was arrested on Sunday (July 31) on suspicion of murder has been bailed to return on a date in mid-September.

Mr Singh, 33, was found with multiple stab wounds in Spikes Bridge Road, Southall, shortly after 11pm last Saturday (July 30) and died the next morning from his injuries.

Friends have paid tribute , with one saying he would "miss his smiling face" and another describing him as "like a brother".

Detectives appeal for information about car seen in the area

Detectives have reissued an appeal for information about a car seen driving in the area immediately before the attack.

Detective Chief Inspector Mark Lawson, of the Met's murder squad, said: "I need to hear from anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious, especially in the Viking Road and Spikes Bridge Road area from around 11pm on Saturday night.

"I also want to trace a car which was seen driving in the area immediately before the assault. The car, which may be a Vauxhall, is thought to have contained three or four males."
