Burglars forced entry into a Willesden man's flat armed with knives, baseball bats and a cricket bat before stabbing him.

Detectives are now appealing for information and witnesses to the aggravated burglary, after they were called at 8.50pm on Wednesday (May 11) to reports of four men forcing entry to a residential property on Tubbs Road in Brent .

Armed with knives, baseball bats and a cricket bat, the suspects forced entry to the 45-year-old man's flat before assaulting him.

The London Ambulance Service was called and the victim was taken to a north London hospital with stab injuries. He has since been discharged.

The suspects fled the flat before police arrived on the scene, jumping over a garden wall into the rear of a neighbouring property, before running towards Station Parade and Tubbs Road.

The suspects are all described as black males, who wore balaclavas and spoke with London accents.

Police are appealing to anyone in the area who may have seen or heard anything or have knowledge of this incident to contact them.
