A Metropolitan Police officer has been sacked from the force after he spat at a member of the public in a road rage row.
PC David Gray, a former Flying Squad officer, was dismissed without notice in a special case hearing after he was found guilty of criminal damage and assault.
The disgraced cop was involved in an altercation with another driver during a manoeuvre to pass a bus along St Margaret's Road, Twickenham , and spat at the member of the public, back in June 2016.

Gray was found guilty at Westminster Magistrates' Court, on Friday April 7, and ordered to pay a total of £2,520 in fines and costs.
The Met deemed that he had a case to answer that his conduct amounted to a breach of standards of professional behaviour, in respect of discreditable conduct and respect and courtesy.
Having considered all of the evidence provided by the appropriate authority and from the officer, the chair of the hearing, Assistant Commissioner Pat Gallan, determined the case as proven on Thursday (August 17).
The public 'has the right to demand the highest standards'
AC Gallan said: "The nature of PC Gray's criminal conviction is such that it undermines the confidence the public has a right to demand of its police service to be treated with authority, respect and courtesy which is critical to policing London effectively.
"PC Gray's conduct on the day was so discreditable that it has resulted in a criminal conviction.
"In addition, the public at large has the right to demand the highest standards of its police service."
