This is the moment a cherry picker was used to bring a man off a roof in Twickenham .

Emergency services attended the scene in Twickenham on Saturday November 19 following reports of a disturbance in Heath Road involving bricks being thrown.

A man in his 30s had suffered a head injury and was taken to hospital.

The road was cordoned off and police swarmed into the area, the same day 80,000 rugby fans were set to descend on Twickenham Stadium for the England v Fiji clash.

Footage taken from the incident shows Heath Road sealed off as London Fire Brigade eventually managed to bring down a man from the house roof.

Witnesses described how police with riot shields were at the scene, with all traffic being diverted away from the chaotic scenario.

  • Max Brazier, 29, of Heath Road Twickenham was charged on Sunday November 20 with robbery, affray and criminal damage and is due to appear in custody at Wimbledon Magistrates' Court on December 29.
