More than 20 firefighters tackled a blaze at a derelict house in Ickenham in under an hour.

London Fire Brigade (LFB) sent four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers to deal with the fire on High Road, Ickenham, on Friday (April 8) morning.

A spokesperson said: "The first floor of a derelict two storey detached house was partly damaged by the blaze.

"The Brigade was called at 10.48am and the fire was under control by 11.41am.

"Fire crews from Ruislip , Harrow and Hillingdon fire stations attended the scene.

"The cause of the fire is under investigation."

LFB tweeted when they were at the scene and also confirmed that there were no reported injuries when the blaze was under control.
