Firefighters tackled a blaze which ripped through the roof and first-floor of a house in Pinner after lightning struck the roof.
The blaze destroyed half of the first-floor and the roof of the house. It is believed that no one was home at the time.
Firefighters were called at 1.36pm on Tuesday afternoon (May 19) and had successfully brought the fire under control by 3.11pm.
The blaze comes as hail and thunderstorms hit parts of London on Tuesday.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown but is believed to be the result of a lightning strike.
