Commuters face long delays due to a fire that broke out at Vauxhall train station this morning (Friday May 5).
Delays and cancellations have affected South West Trains services. Many trains have been cancelled, with further delays expected until 10am.
Speaking on Twitter, South West Trains said: "A fire at Vauxhall station means trains through this station are subject to alterations.
"Please use alternative routes to travel into London as we have limited services due to fire at Vauxhall."
The fire broke out on platforms three and four at 2.30am.
Trains travelling into Waterloo station have been cancelled this morning, as the blaze continues to cause problems at the station.
Video footage on social media filmed by David Holman (@dmh2174) shows firefighters handling the situation as smoke rises from the platform.
London Fire Brigade Station Manager John Ryan said: "Once the power was isolated firefighters quickly got to work to tackle the fire.
"We're currently assessing how much electrical cabling has been affected and damping down pockets of fire.
"The fire will impact on travel this morning and we'd ask people to check before they travel."
Clapham Junction was evacuated at around 8.45am due to overcrowding as a consequence of the fire, with no trains stopping at the station.
