The property was entirely gutted by the blaze as it ripped through the detached house in Brent which had been host to a 'Haunted House' party for Halloween.

There are no reports of any injuries and London Fire Brigade believe there was no-one inside the property at the time of the fire.

Firefighters were called to the incident at just before 5 O'Clock this morning.

Fire crews were called to the scene at 4.51am

35 firefighters and six fire engines were required to tackle the blaze in Mount Pleasant Road, Kensal Rise.

Fire crews from West Hampstead, Park Royal, Willesden, North Kensington and Wembley attended the scene and the blaze was brought under control at just before 7 O'Clock this morning.

Investigations are now underway into the cause of the fire.
