Fire broke out at a popular Ruislip Manor bakery on Wednesday (December 23) evening.

14 firefighters tackled the blaze at Sixty Six Bakery on Victoria Road, near Ruislip Manor Underground Station.

The bakery is on the ground floor of a three storey building, with the first floor and second floor occupied by residents.

A London Fire Brigade (FLFB) spokesperson described how nearly a third of the bakery, six metres by 15 metres in size, was destroyed by the fire.

He said: "30% of the ground floor shop was damaged by fire.

"A hose reel and thermal imaging camera were used."

LFB confirmed that no one was injured in the blaze.

The fire brigade were called at 7:25pm and they had the fire under control by around 8:15pm.
