A fire broke out in a block of shops and flats in Paddington on the same night a huge blaze tore through a warehouse in Perivale.
Four fire engines and around 20 firefighters were called to the block in Spring Street, Paddington, at about 10pm on Saturday (July 4) and the fire was under control by 11.15pm.
The fire badly damaged a flat on the fourth floor and around 50 people left the building before crews arrived.
Firefighters from Lambeth, Islington and Euston fire stations attended the incident.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
