Fiji rugby sevens Olympic champions treated at Hammersmith chiropractic centre

The team visited the The London Chiropractic Clinic ahead of HSBC Sevens World Series tournament on Saturday and Sunday (May 20 and 21)

The all-conquering Fiji rugby sevens team popped into The London Chiropractic Clinic in Hammersmith for some treatment ahead of a tournament at Twickenham.

The World and Olympic champions were worked on by principal chiropractor John Stoker and Associate Chiropractor Lowena Sandercock on Tuesday (May 16) as they prepared for the last round of the HSBC Sevens World Series tournament on Saturday and Sunday (May 20 and 21).

The clinic, in Fulham Palace Road, has a long working relationship with the team and has been the with the Official UK Chiropractor to the Fiji rugby sevens team since 2014 .

The Fiji sevens team became the sevens world champions in 2015 and 2016 and won the hearts of nations around the world at the Rio Olympics by defeating Great Britain in the final to strike gold .

The London Chiropractic Clinic eagerly watched Fiji’s progress at the Olympics. The clinic admitted to split loyalties watching the final, but admitted their hearts were with Fiji.

Gareth Baber, head coach for the Fiji sevens, said: “We are delighted to use the expertise and facilities of The London Chiropractic Clinic again in 2017.

“This is the fourth year in a row that the Fiji Rugby sevens team has benefited from treatment at The London Chiropractic Clinic, with the clinic becoming an important element of our ongoing fitness management programme."

The team will take on England this weekend as the two teams battle it out for second place in the world series.
