A 16-year-old cyclist has been rushed to hospital after being involved in a collision with a car in South Ruislip on Friday (December 16).

Police in Hillingdon were called by London Ambulance Service to Field End Road at the junction with Bradfield Road at 12.43pm after reports of a crash.

Officers arrived at the scene and found the cyclist had been involved in a collision, and he was rushed to a hospital in north London.

Field End Road was closed in both directions from 12.50pm and was still closed until around 4.20pm.

The driver of the car stopped at the scene and is assisting police with enquiries.

No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.

Any witnesses to the collision with information are asked to call the Metropolitan Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
