Police investigation a stabbing in Feltham said they believe the attacker and the victim were known to each other.

Officers in Feltham Police Station were alerted to someone shouting outside the front of the building in Hanworth Road at about 3am on Friday August 18.

After going outside to see what was going on, they found a 36-year-old man suffering from stab injuries.

London Ambulance Service was called and took the victim to a west London hospital.

His injuries were at first believed to be life threatening, but have since found not to be and they are not life-changing.

It is believed the victim was stabbed in Florence Road.

A spokesman for the Met Police said: "Officers supported by the Dog Unit attended and searched the area.

"A 24-year-old man was arrested at an address in the Feltham area on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent.

"He was taken to a west London police station where he has been bailed to date in mid September.

"Enquiries continue, but at this stage it is believed the parties were known to each other.
