A crowdfunding page has been launched to help with the funeral costs of Owain Campbell from Feltham .

The teenager died following a fall from the 10th floor of Hunter House, on Thursday (May 4), leaving a neighbourhood in shock.

Now the community is rallying together to support the family and friends of the young victim.

Messages pay tribute to Owain Campbell

A JustGiving crowdfunding page has been set up to raise £3,000 to help the Campbell family give the much-loved young man a fitting farewell.

Launched by the Feltham Community Development Association (FCDA), a local charity based on the Highfields Estate, who are also providing support to Owain's family and other people affected by his death.

As well as donations towards funeral costs people can leave a message of condolence in tribute to the teen.

Set up by Jan Henson, the crowdfunding page says: "Following the tragic death of Owain Campbell on Thursday 4th May, this In Memory page has been set up to support Owain’s family and friends to provide a farewell in tribute to a much loved young man in the Feltham Community.

"Please leave a message of condolence. Donations will go to Owain’s parents via Feltham Community Development Association a local registered charity supporting Owain’s family and friends."

Tributes to Owain Campbell

Police were called at 3.35pm to Hawthorn Road to reports a male had fallen from Hunter House in Feltham.

The teenager was pronounced dead at the scene. A vigil was held in memory of Owain on Friday (May 5) at 6pm.

He was named locally, as Owain Campbell, a Year 11 student at Springwest Academy , formerly known as Feltham Community College.
