A traffic-free Christmas market is returning to North End Road in Fulham.

It will take place on December 3 and follows the success of last year's Christmas event as well as others during the year.

Shoppers will be treated to stalls selling Christmas presents and festive food and drink, and there will also be entertainment for the masses.

Last year more than 15,000 people enjoyed the Christmas fun, and earlier in October more than 10,000 enjoyed the traffic-free North End Road Autumn Market.

The Christmas event will include live music, street performers and other entertainment – and Father Christmas will also be putting in an appearance and spreading festive cheer.

All this is on top of the much-loved fruit and veg and other stalls which have made the market so popular for 140 years.
