A record-breaking EuroMillions lottery jackpot is up for grabs on Tuesday (October 3) night.

An estimated £167m could be won in the draw, which takes place across nine European countries.

And as if that’s not getting you excited enough, we can now reveal how a little trick means you can get your tickets for £2, instead of the £2.50 asking price.

The £167m is the biggest jackpot ever offered to UK National Lottery players, and thought to be roughly on a par with the net worth of David and Victoria Beckham .

Indeed, if the mother of all jackpots was claimed by a single ticket, the winner would find themselves added to the Sunday Times Top 500 Rich List .

Andy Carter from The National Lottery , said: “At an estimated £167 million Tuesday’s EuroMillions jackpot will be the biggest ever offered to National Lottery players in the UK.

“A single UK winner would be biggest this country and Europe has ever seen.

We urge players to get their ticket early to be in with a chance and also to help raise more millions for National Lottery Good Causes.

“On average, each week players generate more than £30 million to be added to the £37 billion raised so far.”

Will you win the mega jackpot?

To get more people taking part, online betting firm Lottoland.co.uk is offering players the chance to play at £2 - and it even includes a free bet and up to £15 in cash when you bet.

The trick is to not play the EuroMillions itself but instead bet on the outcome.

Lottoland is offering a free bet on the outcome of the lottery and will pay winners the same share of the £167 million they would win on the lottery itself.

There's a good chance you may struggle t spend £167m!

Last year, Lottoland chief executive Nigel Birrell told Mirror Money: “We believe in giving more value to our players and maintaining the price of a bet on the EuroMillions at £2 is just one of the many examples of how we can achieve this.”

How to get the Lottoland offer

  • The cashback offer and free bet are available through cashback website Quidco
  • New customers can register for Quidco here . Once signed up place the bet with Lottoland and you will receive cashback depending on the amount you deposited
  • A deposit of £5 or lower gets you £7, a deposit of £5.01 to £10 earns you £12 and anything over £10 returns £15 in cashback

The massive £167m jackpot is higher than the £161.65 million won by Colin and Chris Weir, from Largs, North Ayrshire, in July 2011.
