If you are on the electoral register you would have received a polling card before the General Election telling you where and when to vote.
The polling station is often a school or local hall near where you live and is open from 7am to 10pm on Thursday (May 7).
But if you have lost or forgotten this card then fear not, as you can vote without it.
As long as you are registered to vote, you do not need to have your polling card with you.
When you get to the polling station just tell the staff inside your name and address so they can check that you are on the electoral register.
If you have it with you you can show them your poll card, but you do not need it to vote.
You can find the contact details of your local authority by entering your postcode in the 'your local area' section on our registration website, www.aboutmyvote.co.uk.
