A 28-year-old man has been taken to hospital after he was stabbed multiple times in Ealing town centre.

Police were called to High Street, Ealing, in the early hours of Sunday (May 14) morning.

Emergency services found a 28-year-old man suffering stab wounds to the leg and chest, just after 4am.

A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police said: "Officers attended along with the London Ambulance Service."

They added: "He was taken to a central London hospital. His injuries are described as not being life-threatening.

"A crime scene was put in place, with a cordon on Bond Street. There have been no arrests and enquiries continue."

Police are asking members of the public to provide any information they have by calling police on 101 or Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111.
