A doctor accused of performing oral sex on a patient has been found not guilty.
Paul Andrew Fox, of Rosebury Road, Fulham, had pleaded not guilty to causing the person to engage in sexual activity, involving the penetration of the defendant's mouth with the complainant's penis when he did not consent.
It had been claimed the incident happened at Ealing Hospital's GUM Sexual Health Clinic on September 1, 2015.
His trial began at Isleworth Crown Court on Monday (December 5), with the jury returning its verdict on Friday (December 9).
The 52-year-old had pleaded not guilty on May 16 at the same court earlier this year.
A spokesman from London North West Healthcare NHS Trust said: "We note the court’s decision today to find Dr Paul Fox not guilty.
"He remains excluded from the Trust pending the outcome of an internal investigation".
