If seeing Paddington Bear wasn't enough excitement for commuters at Paddington Station, throw in a surprise visit from a few royals.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry made a special appearance at the station in London on Monday (October 16) morning for a children's charity event.

Kate was not expected to join her husband William and his brother for the event as she is reportedly suffering from a severe form of morning sickness during her third pregnancy .

However, she arrived looking pretty in pink to meet some of the cast of the new Paddington film, including Hugh Bonneville, and the bear himself, of course.

The event on board the Belmond British Pullman train was organised by BAFTA, according to the Mirror .

Kate, William and Harry also met children and the charities they support.

The youngsters taking part in the event were selected by members of the Duke, Duchess and Prince's Charities Forum, with many going through difficult times in their lives.

More than 30 organisations are involved in the forum, which is made up of charities that William, Kate and Harry support as patrons, and other organisations they work with closely.

Last week, the Duchess attended her first event for six weeks, at Buckingham Palace.

She greeted guests at a reception which honoured people working toward improving the nation's mental health.

She was praised for her obvious passion for the cause, as she was still suffering with hyperemesis gravidarum when she decided to join the reception.
