These images show the aftermath of a collision involving a police car in Shepherd's Bush which saw a driver needing to be cut free from a car.
Two police officers were hurt in the incident in the early hours of Monday (March 13) morning.
The incident happened when the police constables were patrolling Ellerslie Road at around 2.45am.
The car, a Citroën, which had a passenger, was pursued by a marked police car before a crash occurred at Holland Park Roundabout.
London Fire Brigade was called shortly after 3am to cut the driver from Citroën.
He was taken to hospital by an ambulance, before being discharged into police custody.
The driver and the passenger were arrested for various offences including suspicion of attempted grievous bodily harm, dangerous driving, failing to stop, theft of a motor vehicle and driving whilst over the prescribed limit.
The two officers sustained minor injuries.
The Met’s Directorate of Professional Standards have been made aware of the incident.
Two fire engines from Hammersmith fire station and a fire rescue unit from Paddington fire station attended the scene.
