An ongoing problem with street-drinkers and groups of noisy youths gathering in Brent has caused police to crack down on antisocial behaviour in the area.
A dispersal zone was put into force by Dudden Hill police on Monday (September 18) following a number of complaints from residents about large groups of up to 40 youths hanging around and making noise in Neasden Lane.
Officers will patrol the area to disperse groups of youths and take down the names and addresses of those behaving antisocially until October 10.
PC Kisne of Dudden Hill police said: "It's an ongoing problem that gets worse over the summer and during school holidays."

He explained: "Large groups of 30 to 40 kids hang out there and cause problems.
"Residents ring in and complain about the noise and antisocial behaviour so its the dispersal's job is to deal with that."
He added that the street-drinking was a "separate problem" but could not comment further.
The disposal zone covers the entire Neasden Lane area between the North Circular Road and Tanfield Avenue.
There have been no reported instances of criminal damage or violence at the site.
