Detectives continue to appeal for witnesses to come forward following the alleged sexual assault of a 12-year-old in Willesden Green.

A man is believed to have persuaded the schoolboy to go to a nearby address in Griffin Close where he was allegedly assaulted.

Officers investigating the incident on Park Avenue also want to hear from anyone who can identify a man pictured in a CCTV image.

The Metropolitan Police said the victim was approached in Park Avenue just before 4pm on January 11, 2017, and urge anyone who can help to get in touch.

The man is described as southeast Asian appearance, in his mid 20s, around 5ft 4ins tall and of slim build.

He was wearing a grey coloured beanie type hat, a light green coloured long sleeved top, grey coloured trousers and was pushing a bicycle.

A 22-year-old man was arrested on January 17 and has been bailed to date in March.
