Fulham FC has held consultation sessions with fans over tghe proposed redevelopment of the Riverside Stand at Craven Cottage.

Fans and residents were given a chance to view the plans and ask questions of key figures both at the club and at architect firm Populus.

The sessions took place on Thursday (October 12) and before their home game against Preston on Saturday (October 14).

The club proposes to knock down the existing Riverside Stand , with its replacement including nine flats.

A riverside walk connecting Bishop’s Park, in Fulham , and the ground, would also be created.

Originally, the previous plans for the Riverside Stand had the redevelopment incorporating the current structure.

The club has no plans to relocate while the stand is knocked down and built.

The club is hoping to submit the planning application to Hammersmith and Fulham Council by the end of November after taking into account feedback received from consultations.

The new stand design will be lower than the maximum height of the approved design

If permission is granted the club hopes to commence work on the stand by May 2019, with construction complete in 2021.
