A 23-year-old woman has died in a crash involving two cars and a lorry near Uxbridge .

The woman died at the scene of the crash on the Uxbridge Road in Iver which happened shortly before 7.50pm last night (Wednesday, October 19).

Police are appealing for witnesses as they try to establish the cause of the crash.

Investigating officer, Sergeant Tom Smith from Thames Valley Police, said: I would like to appeal for anyone who witnessed this incident, or who has any information relating to it, to contact us on 101.”

The collision involved a silver Volkswagen Golf, a blue Ford Fiesta and a lorry on the A412 Uxbridge Road near the Crooked Billet roundabout.

Drivers of the other vehicles were not seriously injured in the collision, but the 23-year-old Volkswagen driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

Her next of kin have been informed.

The road was closed for around seven hours while investigations were carried out. It has since reopened.

No arrests have been made.
