The store has flats above it

One witness, Hardeep Singh, said he was walking past the store and could see the inside of the building full of smoke.

The customer service assistant, from Southall, added: "I was walking by and I noticed the fire brigade, police and ambulance.

"I don't think anyone was injured but you could tell there was a fire inside. The inside was full of smoke."

"There were about three fire engines," Mr Singh added.

"The building didn't look damaged too much, including all the flats upstairs as well.

"There were loads of people the the other side of the road as the police had a cordon."
