A missing man from Surrey, who needs medication, could be in the Victoria area.

Surrey Police are continuing to search for missing Epsom man John Walsh who has not been seen since Friday (February 27).

Concerns are increasing for the welfare of 69-year-old John, who was last seen in the Mill Road area in Epsom, at around 1pm on Friday, when he left home.

Officers are investigating the possibility that John may be using other names and are also trying to establish whether he may have travelled to the Victoria area of London as he has previously been located there.

He is believed to have gone to visit a local store and café. He did not return and at around 6.15pm was reported missing to police.

Officers are concerned for John as this is out of character and he requires regular medication which he is not believed to have with him.

Since John failed to return home a number of enquiries have been carried out in a bid to locate him.

John is described as a white man and around 5ft 6ins tall.

East Surrey Inspector Ken Bates said: "John has now been missing for two nights with no confirmed sightings in that time, and due to his age and vulnerability, we are extremely concerned for his welfare. We are following up a number of lines of enquiry but would like to hear from anyone who may have seen him to contact us as a matter of urgency.”

Anyone who has seen John is asked to contact Surrey Police on 101 or information can be given through the charity Missing People on 116 000.
