Police say they are growing concerned after a vulnerable pensioner went missing from his home in Westminster .

Alfred Ryan was last seen at around 4pm on Tuesday (May 3). He is a black man, 5ft 10 ins tall, of medium build, with short hair.

His wife is concerned because the 79-year-old suffers from dementia and police are asking for the public’s help in tracking him down.

He was last seen wearing a blue T-shirt, dark coloured trousers and a bobble hat.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call officers at Westminster via 101 quoting reference number 16MIS018088.

His disappearance comes after police in Ealing appealed for information on a 13-year-old girl that had gone missing .

But in nearby Fulham, a 15-year-old girl was found after going missing for nearly a week.
