A printing firm in Brentford has appeared in court after a worker was crushed by a forklift truck.

Stephen Rodwell was trapped between his vehicle and a forklift truck while working at Heidelberg Graphic Equipment, in High Street, Brentford, on December 21, 2012, according to court documents.

The company appeared at Feltham Magistrates' Court on Monday (April 13), charged with two counts of contravening a health and safety regulation and one of breaching a general duty to those at the workplace.

The case was adjourned until May 11, when the firm is due to enter a plea at the court.

Mr Rodwell was working as a self-employed courier driver, and his vehicle was being loaded at the premises when the incident occurred.
